Insurance Network begins its 15th year of serving the medical insurance needs of
the California desert & beyond, we have much to be thankful for.
We have seen the medical insurance market go through many changes, most for the
good of our clients. Medical care is better now than ever before and all of us
are living longer and healthier. Even though premiums on some policies escalate,
the return we receive has become greater.
We are blessed to have some of the best medical facilities and professionals
here in California. They continue to strive to meet the growing needs of our
population while our premiums remain lower than most other areas in California.
We must, as individuals and decision makers of our business, take charge of our
families medical care regardless of what type of insurance we have. Don't get
wrapped up with the HMO-PPO battle unless you have received all the information
necessary. You need to talk to your doctors, pharmacist and dentist and ask the
right questions to determine what is best for you. It's your body, your life and

Use Blue Cross / Blue Shield When Traveling
Blue Card PPO program provides comprehensive
benefits and negotiated discounts in states outside California where members
live and work as well as to those members who travel out of state. The
affiliation with the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association gives members the
ability to receive medical care providers who provide services at negotiated
rates through reciprocal arrangements with more than 54 Blue Cross/Blue Shield
plans throughout the country.
Need A Check Up?
Check-up Centers were created to augment the
preventive health services available through Blue Cross by offering members an
affordable, convenient health screening program. Members receive a basic health
assessment and screening for hypertension, high cholesterol levels, blood
glucose and skin cancer. A computerized, personal health appraisal listing
relative health risks related to your current lifestyle is now available.
Special screening and immunizations are offered to children. We encourage all
Blue Cross members to use this valuable resource. Call 1-800-274-WELL.
Life Insurance
Since
Health Insurance Network
specializes in health insurance, we seldom mention that we are one of the
